Introduction for schools

Welcome to North Ayrshire Council’s Arran Outdoor Education Centre.

Located on the shores of Lamlash Bay on the beautiful island of Arran, our purpose-built centre is the perfect place to access the outdoors.

Arran is famous for its granite mountains and remote forest trails. Its sheltered bays form some of the most beautiful sailing and kayaking venues in all of Scotland. These wild and stunning landscapes inspired its reputation as “Scotland in Miniature”.
