Our Centre & Facilities

Accessible facilities

For visitors who need extra support, we provide a dedicated accessible dormitory with a fixed and mobile hoist, multi-position bed and ensuite accessible bathroom.

Our centre also has an accessible changing room downstairs and accessible toilets on all three levels. Lifts and ramps make it easier to access facilities around the centre.

Visitors can also use our beach wheelchair and accessible three-wheel e-bike. The research vessel Coast Explorer can accommodate wheelchair users.

Drying

There are two well equipped drying rooms at the centre, with rails to ensure you are able to dry any wet outdoor clothing. We keep all our specialist outdoor equipment and clothing in our stores. To help make your stay with us affordable and memorable, all you need to bring is clothing you would normally play out in.

Meal times

Start your day with a hearty breakfast and end it with a delicious home-cooked dinner in our dedicated dining area. After a day of adventure and exploration, relax and unwind while taking in the stunning views across Lamlash Bay.

Groups can choose between bed and breakfast or self-catering options, giving you the flexibility to plan meals around your group and your stay.
